Although hunger is fed through our stomachs, appetite is satisfied through our eyes, and visually appealing food has never been more important than in recent digital decades. Having worked in the food industry for over 10 years, and in food photography for the last 5 years, I have come to realise the importance of mouthwatering content firsthand. 

With extensive experience in publishing, PR, marketing, social media management, content writing, food photography and styling, and recipe development, I have come to understand the industry from multiple angles which helps me deliver unique and innovative content for regional, national and international food brands and companies.

Based in the heart of the Somerset Levels in the South West of England, I am located in one the country's most highly-regarded food regions, offering incredible seasonal produce and hosting some of the nation's best food producers. Regularly requesting Bristol and London also gives me a taste for faster-paced food, engaging in the latest food trends and the thriving street food markets shaping city eating.

Having always had a keen interest in the arts, I like to make food not only taste delicious but appeal to the eye too. Honing my skills both sides of the lens, I work with food photographers, videographers and creative agencies to create client- and customer-focused content. 

CONTENT WRITING

With extensive experience in publishing, I relish the challenging of producing engaging, reader-focused content appropriate for both digital and print media.  Although with a forte for creating content concerning seasonal, regional produce, I write topical content for regional, national and international food and drink brands and publications.  

RECIPE DEVELOPMENT

I love creating innovative recipes for various clients and audiences.  Published in magazines, used for digital newsletters or simply for social media purposes, I develop achievable, reader-friendly recipes often making use of seasonal and 'on-trend' ingredients.
